FIREMAN consortium will participate in the forthcoming CHIST-ERA Projects Seminar organized in Prague on the 21-22 of April 2020. The seminar brings together researchers involved in the ongoing CHIST-ERA funded projects and representatives of the research funding organizations. In the context of the seminar, a F2F project meeting will be held on 20th of April.

Two FIREMAN researchers were recently awarded prestigious grants.

On December 2019, Dick Carrillo-Melgarejo (LUT) was awarded a 5K€ research grant from the Nokia Foundation for his research towards improving the design of wireless communication systems for energy systems and industrial automation. More information can be found here.
On February 2020, Daniel Gutierrez Rojas (LUT) was awarded a 3K€ research grant from the HPY Research Foundation for his research towards adaptive protection and fault detection in electricity grids based on 5G wireless communication.
Congratulations to you both!
